Irumudi can now be taken at the AAYSSA location. We will provide the Irumudi bag if needed.

Irumudi is a sacred Seva that every Swamy undertakes with bhakti, purity, and complete dedication. It prepares the mind and soul for the holy yatra. Our Guruswamy will prepare and tie the Irumudi and perform the Irumudi Pooja before it is taken for the Yatra and offered to Lord Ayyappa.

AAYSSA will provide all Irumudi items for a nominal fee.

Mudra Kai needs to be scraped, cleaned on the side, and drilled through the eye to fill ghee — swamies in deeksha will get this done.

AAYSSA can also help coordinate 18 Steps climbing at:

Shiva Vishnu Temple of Maryland, VA,

as we maintain good relationships with these temple Trustees.

Mandala Kalam

During Mandala Kalam, Irumudi can be taken at the AAYSSA locatpreferably on Friday/Saturday) during morning temple hours (9 AM – 11 AM).

If you would like to join the AAYSSA Group Mandala Yatra, we arrange bus transport for the entire AAYSSA yatra group to the Sri Ayyappa Temple of Tampa, FL.
